Gail Knox, member of the Rideau Lakes Artists’ Association, is the featured artist in the North Gower Branch of the Ottawa Public Library for November.
Gail paints in watercolour and acrylic, and is known for the vibrant colour of her paintings. She also works with pottery, and experiments with various media as she strives to realize her creative vision.
Gail is a graduate of the Fine Arts program at Carleton University. Her work has been shown in juried exhibitions in Kanata and Nepean, and won awards.
The art display at North Gower is behind the Service desk, and along the bookshelf walls.
The artist of the month program has been a monthly feature at North Gower for more than 25 years, and is managed by librarian Karen Craig.
