Interesting books of 2015 you might not have heard of:Wall Street Journal lists them

Wall Street Journal

The Wall Street Journal has thoughtfully combined a selection of best books of 2015 lists, and presented the titles under Fiction, non-fiction, crime/mystery, and more.

The list is predominately American but has some interesting titles you might not have seen before. Like, A Manual for Cleaning Women, a collection of short stories by writer Lucia Berlin, rated 4.5 stars out of 5. (Does the Ottawa Public Library have it? YES.)

In the Young Adult category are some interesting titles, including Dumplin’ the story of a young woman who is a “self-proclaimed fat girl” who, despite self-doubt, enters a beauty contest. “With starry Texas nights, red candy suckers, Dolly Parton songs, and a wildly unforgettable heroine—Dumplin’ is guaranteed to steal your heart.”
